While we are constantly surrounded by radio waves and digital tech such as broadcasting stations, WiFi, bluetooth, smart phones, GPS and IT infrastructures, the HackRF One is a Software-Defined Radio that can interact with any of these technologies. It is designed to test, develop, improvise and modify the contemporary Radio Frequency systems. It processes Digital Signals to Radio waveforms allowing integration of large-scale communication networks. HackRF One acts like a sound card of computer. It can be programmed and managed as stand-alone device and system. The signal spike at the center is DC offsets. The Waterfall Plot is the complete 2 meter amateur radio band from 144 MHz to 148 MHz showing mostly FM stations activity. The HackRF One is an open-source platform that works as a USB peripheral. The above screen capture and image are a HackRF One controlled by GNU Radio Companion software running on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B computer at 42 CPU load. With excellent range and capability, it can receive and transmit signals from 1 MHz to 6 GHz.
